When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you submit a community story, we store the title, content, author name, and any images you upload. When you use the Travel Concierge service, we collect the travel preferences and contact details you provide in the request form. Saved events and businesses are stored locally on your device using browser storage.
How We Use Your Information
We use your account information to authenticate you and personalize your experience. Story submissions are used to populate our community content section, pending review and approval. Travel concierge requests are used solely to fulfill your booking and travel planning needs. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Travel concierge requests may be shared with our booking partners (including Expedia) solely to fulfill your travel arrangements. Aggregate, anonymized data may be used for analytics to improve the app.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the Profile page, which removes your account and associated data. Community stories remain part of the platform's published content unless you request removal.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information within the app. To exercise your data rights or request account deletion, use the Delete Account feature in your Profile or contact us directly.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication tokens and secure data transmission. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Cincy Black Travel is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
